We must join together for tomorrow’s
Children. To protect their coming.
To guarantee their mornings. To wrap
Our arms around their dreams.
To leave a legacy of love. To reject hate.
To prepare the way for their journeys.
To join in solidarity in our efforts to
Preserve this wonderful blue marble
And all its treasures.
To remain engaged and refuse to succumb
To the illiterate rage.
To present them upon their arrival
With the sweet nectars that Mother
Earth provides — to all who recognize
Their obligation to sow the seeds of
Love and appreciation.
And to celebrate our opportunity to
Be part of this collective journey this
time around the Sun.
